My blog continues to operate in suckitude, but I'm good, thanks for asking. This past weekend Brian, from Cheapblueguitar, came to visit me. Check out the pics here. We had fun! Brian's an old friend from Phoenix, but really I've gotten to know him way better since moving. He's the best houseguest every. Seriously, invite him to your place, you'll enjoy him.

The highlight was going to see The American Life LIVE. Ira Glass is so darn cute.

I'm now in NYC. I just arrived and I'm getting in a little work before my parents arrive this afternoon. We'll hang out, meet my friend CC for drinks at Bar Veloce (one of my faves) and then head to dinner down in the Village.

I really am sorry that I haven't been posting and visiting your blogs much, I'm a little out of control (sorta in a good way). Work is crazy and I'm doing alot more traveling than I'd really like. I'm looking forward to staying home all weekend next week.

How exactly will your freedom be taken away. This is a crazy ad that was pointed out to me by my buddy, Brian. It's by the National Organization for Marriage. NOM. He's right, they do look like zombies.

has simply become a compilation of lists, bullets and random musings. I know (hope, at least) I'll have something relevant to say again soon.

In the meantime, I've been super busy with work which is going very well. I'm happy with my progress and the goals that I'm achieving.

I'm planning trips for fun and work. Phoenix next weekend. Then, Brian is coming to visit, and then I'm off to NYC for a weekend. Trips to Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Raleigh and New Orleans are all planned through June. France & Ireland in the fall.

Oh, yeah, and the move. Don't forget about my move. I got the final "clear to close" from the mortgage company on Friday. Geez, getting a mortgage is a way bigger deal than it used to be. I thought they were going to want a DNA sample. The closing is May 27th. Is it too soon to start packing now? I definitely need to schedule the Salvation Army to make a pick up.

Then there's the new boy. It's continuing to go well. He's really great, such a gentleman and so smart. Anytime a man says, "By the way, if I haven't told you, you look awesome tonight, I meant to," he's a keeper. We'll see. For now, we're having fun and enjoying each other's company.

This weekend is laying low with four loads of laundry, vacuuming, cooking and cleaning my office which seems to just breed piles when I'm not looking. I should also work on the huge mailing that I need to get out next week. I suppose I can do that while catching up on DVR tonight.

Such an exciting life I lead, I know. Jealous much?
