You Like Me...

You like me, thank you!

Thank you Sally Field and thank you, Kat.

Well, at least Kat over at MyLABlog likes me. Good thing, cause I like her too. She gave me the E for Excellent award yesterday. I'm blushing as it's my first bloggie award. Make sure you go visit Kat and give her some lovin', she's super cool.

Now, the Rules: By accepting this Excellent Blog Award, you agree to award it to 10 more people whose blogs you find Excellent Award worthy. You can give it to as many people as you want but please award at least 10. You deserve this! Feel free to award people who have already been awarded.

I humbly and graciously pass along this E for Excellence to the following, in no particular order, of course:

BlakeMakes -- Blake and his lovely wife, Bridget, run this fab cooking website based in New Orleans. Being a fellow Louisianian, I love them just for that, but it's a cool site to boot. Oh, and today is Blake's birthday, go wish him HBD, K?

Michelle from Bleeding Espresso -- I've talked about Michelle before. Again, add her to your reader because she has great recipes, travel info and is an all around good writer and gal

Africankelli -- Kelli and I have a mutual friend, but I've never met her in person. We three lived in Arizona, but now I'm here in Virginia and our mutual friend is in Chicago. Small world. Kelli's an insightful author, gifted in many ways. She often has a way of putting things into perspective for me. She's passionate about educating us about the trials and tribulations of developing nations around the globe. Oh, and she's just about the craftiest person I know.

Kristin at Country Mouse Flips Out -- She's just hilarious! Kristin shares anecdotes from her family and her work. It's fun, family and frolicking over there all the time. Oh, and she's going to be a grandmother for the first time this year, go on...go wish her congrats.

My dear, sweet Brian from Cheap Blue Guitar -- Brian and I worked together in our former lives, but didn't really get to be buddies until after that. He's a really talented web designed and all around good guy. He's witty and poignant. He's one you'll want to read over and over.

Amy from One Girl, Two Dogs and a Mission -- I know Amy IRL, too. I've known her for nigh on 10 years now. Dang, that's a long time. I just did the math. She's newish to the blogging world, but not to the Internets. She's a superstar web designer, too. And she runs marathons, and she runs her own non-profit, and she's has a very important job, and she's the mom to two cute pups, and she's a world traveller, and she's a hard core proof reader...and she makes me sick because she can do everything. Oops, did I just say that? Seriously, she's like the energizer bunny! I heart her and you will, too.

Cakespy -- One word...Cake! Cake is excellent, and so Cakespy gets this award. I love cake and cupcakes and cake like things and sweet stuff and so does Cakespy. That is why I love Cakespy. Great pictures of cakes. Great stories about cake. What more can you want?

With Love, From Smiler -- She's a fantastic writer and takes lovely photos, too. I love her kitty, Fritz. Smiler shares her short stories, haikus and even blogging tips. She's a daily read for me.

Mit Moi from Mit, Mitter, Mittany, It's me -- Mit is a hoot. She's traveling in the UK right now, so you can catch up on her shananigans. Mit and I have had several almost encounters, and I'm confident that we'll meet IRL eventually.

Allen at Eating Out Loud -- Love Allen's blog. His pictures are fantabulous and his recipes make my mouth water. I don't know how he finds the time to do all of the creative things in the kitchen that he does. Allen's the kind of guy that I feel pretty confident we'd get along over a glass of wine and a tasty snack! Plus, he loves my shortbread recipe!

Take a little time and go visit these people, you won't be sorry.

Isn't passing around this award thing fun?! Most people also stack it over on the sidebar as well (I'm too lazy to do that).

Speaking of sidebars...I see you joined up at Thirty-Somethings over at Ning! Yay!

Thank you, you're a sweetheart, and I humbly accept. Only, I wont pass it on if you don't mind since I was awarded with this award a couple of months ago, hope that's ok...
