Reusable

In my effort to be more green, for the baby shower, I used reusable things.

For example, for the game prizes, I used BB products. Rather than putting them in gift bags or wrapping them with paper, I used dish towels. All of the gifts were small. I bought 4 really cute dish towels and used them to wrap the prizes. Then, when people go home, they can use the towel in their kitchen and think of Sonja and Baby Delaney whenever they use it.

For the party favors, I didn't do gift bags. I bought little ceramic flower pots from IKEA. The pots were filled with lip balm, lip gloss, some type of lotion (all biodegradable) candies and a packet of herb seeds. So each guest can plant the seeds in the pot and use the herbs in their kitchen. No wasted paper and we're getting the benefit of more greens!
